Collaborative Research Projects
In addition to the questions addressed by the nine sub-projects, the entire group of researchers has selected three association-wide topics for the years 2024 – 2028, which will be worked on collaboratively across the association.
The Far Right in Bavaria
The goal of this collaborative project is to develop a phenomenology of right-wing extremist and far-right activities in Bavaria during the active phase of ForGeRex, which can be carried on even after the end of the association’s funding period.
Iconography and Narratives
How is the political iconography of the far right evolving? What imagery, symbols, and narratives are being used? What is the connection to Bavaria? Far-right discourses have changed.
Research Ethics
Research ethics concern the appropriate, respectful, and responsible treatment of all those involved in the research process, including study participants, researchers, and the public.
